The meeting in a nutshell

The theme of the third meeting was Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact in life. Students and teachers learned the very basic of AI and they were invited to solbe some popular puzzles that are used to show various problem-solving techniques that are employed in AI. In addition, they learned something about the history of AI and how ancient Greeks envisioned robots and robotic systems.

October the 4th is local bank holiday. The town celebrates its liberation, which happened on October 4, 1919. Thus, on Wednesday both teachers and students had a day off. However, they had to chance to see how the people of Xanthi celebrate their liberation.

Both teachers and students participated in a number of activities that included hiking on the mountains that are near Xanthi, trailing on the riverside of the river Nestos, visinting the island of Thassos, etc.

The third meeting of our project was covered by the newspapers Xanthi Post and ΕΜΠΡΟΣ.
